A Prayer for Strength through sickness

Almighty God, Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, this is the day that you have made; I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Father, I bring to You today my physical ailments. Please place Your hands on me and let Your Spirit flow through me with these words. May it flow in from the portal of my heart in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ.

I offer this prayer with an open mind to receive Your grace and mercy in mind, body, and soul. Lord, I pray that You strengthen my faith to enable me to look within and to openly receive Your divine medical advice with a joyful heart. Help me to receive it from the doctors so that I, Your servant, will be fully restored through the acceptance of these, Your blessings in the form of the hands and hearts of those who are always willing to help me. May my body flourish in receiving the peace of Your Holy Word.

Lord, I pray that You shower me with the Fruits of the Spirit; Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-Control through this trying time. Lord, I pray this prayer all to the Glory and Honour of Your Holy Name, through Jesus Christ.

Amen.
